L5 Pursuit C6R "U.S.Marshal" edition

The concept of multi-jurisdictional police (local, state, and federal) originating from the same police stations of a single city always seemed a little strange to me. Hence, I have a penchant for creating pursuit cars that DON'T all originate from Rockport PD, and this one is no exception. Say hello to the new G-Men in town: the U.S. Marshals are here sporting their Corvette C6Rs with black and blue skyburst paint jobs. And by the way, they don't give a rat's ass about ANYBODY calling 9-1-1… They're here for one reason only: to take you, the streetracer, out.

As before, I've created this new C6R skin from one of BodyKiT's awesome templates, this time, his California Highway Patrol B&W; C6R. And again, the reason for this is the same: I REALLY like the way his cars look with his modded textures and his custom sport stands. All I did was dress it up in a different outfit and give it some new shoes (note the Bridgestone Potenza tire textures).

INSTALLATION:

1. Since this is an add-on skin designed over someone else's work, namely master modder BodyKiT, you'll need to install one of his L5 chase Corvettes (COPSPORTHENCH) to apply the skin to. I recommend his California Highway Patrol black-and-white which you can get here:

I prefer BodyKiT's Corvettes over the standard NFSMW ones as he's already modded them with a wicked sports stand and other great features – you rule, dude!! :)

2. After installing the L5 Corvette, head over to your CARS_REPLACE folder, then open up the COPSPORTHENCH folder. Locate the file called TEXTURES.BIN, and rename it TEXTURES.OLD – this way, if you want to revert back to BodyKiT's original CHP C6R skin, you can.

3. Copy the new TEXTURES.BIN file from THIS download, and paste it in the COPSPORTHENCH folder.

4. Start the game, get to heat level 5, and try to stay one step ahead of the NEW federal pursuit authorities: the U.S. Marshals! ENJOY!!
