That also gives a chance to switch collisionreactions for AI racers that you're never able to push around.

YOu can evade. But you cant cooldown. YOu will definitely find a corvette when you are on the way to hide your car.

I Can't, where to put -mod in Shortcut? where to direct put -mod? the message says it not vaild.

Did you installed the ModLoader using the Ferrari 360? If yes, just put SLZ folder in car replace. If not, the shortcut should be like this:

speed.exe -mod

*LOL* A few seconds before posting this, i had just evaded and cooleddown in Challenge Series 68 (which has a heat level five) and i evaded it in under 20 seconds! 18.52 to be exact.

And ArkX Stylizer, yes, you can cooldown. I just did.

Now that looks really sensational! Love it. Nice one SLZ. Maybe an angry helicopter would destroy any semi-trucks while in an insane pursuit. :P

I geuss it;s just challenge 68 that has problems. I'll try it on another challenge series. ;)

This gets boring fast though. 1-4 cars chasing you is VERY boring. Usually i'm used to getting chased by 15 cops at once.

Can this bug possibly be fixed?

Mahaha, unevadeable is right! Very easy at some points, but I really like how the rhinos will chase you and try to help out the cop cars too! I do like the more aggressive helicopter, he has attacked a semi, and a corvette at a roadblock, very funny :) I'd like to see a BUNCH of cross corvetts chasing, that would make this truly, and utterly "Hell on wheels" I made it to 27 million bounty, then one of the rhinos shoved then pinned me into a wall..... I have it all on video :D

i tried today with the challenge series, last second, damage to properties with the piggy bank logo (forgot with challenge number) i did it very easily with the honda civic, evaded it by cooling down (NOT SAFEHOUSE). that was way too easy. btw, my cross car is B engineering, i am wondering if there are any other cross cars (not fantasis cars)....

i beat the pursuit only in 30 mins(with the BMW M3 GTR)

Basically I made a car trough my own vision. A car from 22nd century, max speed 500 km/h and it should be really heavy, like a tank lol. And then it would be cool to have 100 + normal police cars chasing.

It certainly look hilarious when the vynyl of Cross's car get swapped with the cops and a 100 backup of it catching you (especially your screenshot), seems sad that you can have ethier the lambo (cop) or the Cross's one.

you wont beleive... i just evaded this condition.... heat was 5... chopper was around... i was playing that 13 minutes chase on Razor level... lost all the cop cars at 11th minute and tried to get them again but there was not damn cop car.. not even those damn corvettes.... and i was completed on 11th... shit... it was hard but i couldnt complete and unfortubately evaded at 11th minute

WoW!!! nC :) can I ask something? Is there a way to make a tunable BMW that replaces an other car (not the BMW) so she can be buyable? If yes... please make it :( :( :( I don't like using trainers cause the opponent cars are also very good cars, in one prof i've started with trainer with BMW and had in the 3rd race an opponent with Porche!!! OMG!!!

The Mod is great, but there is an important bug in there you need to fix, for the first you never get reinforcements because they wont show upp until there is about 1 police car left, and also when you got 80 after you there is always 0-1 driving after you with the reinforcement at the beginning you get 7 if your lucky, without the mod you get 25 after you on each reinforcement and thats often, so you could maby make it bether if you made all 100 policecars find you when 1 finds you and drive after you, and make more often reinforcement time. anyways Great conversion!!! i loves it.

@ rollcage11213: Cooldown IS possible but seems that the meter will decrease after a helicopter is deployed (a total of 24) and what again? Only 15 of it catching you?(sorry if I am too rude) 32 is normally my number of cops. You are right. No spikes.

@ Ark-X Stylizer: Apologies for the mistake I said at post 29, (lambos are a dead not comming) BUT I believe that a more impossible one can be made. (eg. a 100+ of cops?)
But anyway, it is fun enough for me. Thanks alot.

The installation doesn't work. When I want to copy datas from the zip-data to the NFSMW directory,

it say no. Can you help me?

When I want to create a new folder in the NFSMW directory, it say that the datas on the directory
are write-protected. So I can't rename the data speed.exe into speed.exe-mod.
Also when I put the datas modloader.ini and d3d9.dll into the directory, it say you can't do it.
So what must I do?

First of all, thanks for sharing this mod. It does present a challenge... initially at least. However, once you learn how to evade and enter the cooldown mode, that initial fun fades away. It's not about speed, really - I managed to beat it w/ a stock (well, as 'stock' as the car's creator would make it) Chevy Bel Air w/out ever resorting to N2O & the speedbreaker. There's basically one thing you need to do in order to successfully evade this particular mode of pursuit but I don't intend to spoil the fun for those of you who would like to give it a try, and I certainly do recommend it.

Comments:

1. The chopper IS the greatest attraction of this mod, and the way it will smash through pursuit breakers ahead of you is just crazy!!! Was that intended or does that happen because of the enhanced interference on the helicopter's part? In any case, thumbs up!

2. As it has been already pointed out, the fact that you're essentially being chased around by a single car is a HUGE drawback, and I would heartily recommend scrapping the whole Cross Corvette idea altogether if you can't get more cars to chase you. I'd say, go back to the standard level 5 (or , if possible, level 6!) 'Vettes because the way they swarm around the player presents a more daunting challenge. Seriously, it's hard to feel alarmed by the fact that there are 100 cop cars around when 99 of those just patiently wait for you to smash right through them.

3. No spikestrips?! Another downer. How about Carbon-style spikestrips in front of the cop cars? I'd like / hate that one!

4. The SUV's seem to make their appearance so rarely that when they finally do appear I am usually too surprised to evade them because I have completely forgotten all about them. This then can be a good thing or a bad thing - probably the latter if one misses the level 7 specs in free roam mode.

It's definitely a great idea, and I certainly appreciate the work you put into it - it'd simply be a lot more fun with a few tweaks. How about a li'l update then? :-)
