Description

this is a fully mapped 99 mustangh from mm2. it completel with a textured damage model. the texture is quite blurry and crappy because nfs doesnt allow textures bigger than 256x256 pixels. but it still looks decent. this is my first nfs release in years, and i didnt want to come back with a low poly car, but all my high poly and works of are are very big multiple textured cars.
well, enjoy

the red tire textures is just the zmodeler render, if you are stupid enough to be convinced otherwise, look at the ingame shot. im a pro modeler and wouldnt leave something like that.

I'm pretty convinced that the pics showing a red tire thread are taken from MM which has got problems with today's graphics cards. Maybe you should check the car out...

@ Rich: Looks nice, not fantastic I've got to admit, but decent, like you said ;)

The games accept 512x512 but the texture is automatically resized.

the game automatically resizes them and makes it look 13 times worse. the red wheels are just the render, obvioulsy, the ingame shots theyre fixed. there is no mm2 shots there, theres the zmodeler renders and the ingame pics. the render version of the model, which is the hi res texture didnt have the wheels mapped, unlike the game version. i quickly put the tire texture on, but forgot the tread was mapped somewhere else. the car handles and drives nicley, ill soon be releasing a non pursuit version, you can just race with it

Not much to say, I'm somewhat opposed to muastangs (poser cars). The wheels could use some depth, but the rest is al right, and the damage is spectacular.

then why are u THAT stupid to upload those pix?! lol..just kiddin... mm2 has zillions of high poly cars. and in Z modeler u can map the body with a lower resolution texture, preventing blurry texture at the same time. u can just map the body with a small area in the image. in this case, its impossible cuz its a very low poly car depending on its textures to be considered as a mustang. So far, I like it, first, cuz i love mustangs, 2nd, cuz i like cop cars, 3rd, that damage is just amazing!!! no one ever made a car for NFSHS with damage textures. COOL STUFF DUDE!!!

btw, mustang GT 2005 might have a poser face, but mustang was a humble fast car from its beginning. 67 mustang was produced at the same time of cars like the huge impalas and caddies. faster, smaller. Plus, mustang has lot of power, so its not a virtual poser.
