Welcome to v4 of nfscars after a few months of development and fixing a problem with the files listing's being slow it is mainly complete. Read below to find out what is new.

Site Layout

As you can see the layout of the site has changed. This was due to the old layout style being stale and also now we are listing more information on pages then we did previously.

I plan on creating a 2nd theme more like the previous layout but this will probably take me a couple of weeks.

Car Showroom

I have rewritten the showroom and everyone will probably agree that it had to be done.

- Garages

We now have showroom garages so you can keep your rides organized. You can also create or rename your garages to whatever you like as long as the name follows the site rules. There is no set limit on the amount of garages you can have per game but don't abuse it.

- Multiple Photos

When you upload your ride you can now attach multiple photos for your ride. The limit on this is 24 images per ride I think this is more then enough. Just select browse and select your image and then it will be attached below the browse input.

- My Garages

This is where you can manage your showroom garages and ride submissions. You can add and remove photos for your rides or even delete your ride. You can also edit or delete your garages from this page.

- Image Tags & Ratings

Once you upload your ride you will be presented with a page to tag your photos this is optional but if you want you can go back later and tag your photos on your rides edit page.

You can now view a history of the last 5 people who rated your ride. This might keep people a little more honest but we will see.

- Favourite Rides

You can add rides to your favourites. Once you add a ride it can be found in your favourites list which is located under your My Garages page.

- Recent Ride Comments

When you are under the car showroom we have a new list on your right that list's the rides that have been recently commented on.

Files

- Multiple Photos

Just like the car showroom you can upload multiple images for your file at once. You can also add or remove images at a later date as long as you are the author of the file and it is associated with your account even if the image was uploaded by someone else.

- My Files

This is your page to edit or remove your files. Files will only be shown if they belong to you and are associated with your account. If you have files on the site that are not associated with your account please contact me and I will fix this on a case by case basis.

- Recent File Comments

Just like the car showroom there is a new list on the right when you are under the file section listing the recent comments of files.

Report

You can now report inappropriate showroom rides, files and comments. Just click the report link and enter a description of the offending item. The report link for files and showroom rides will be at the top right of the information of the ride or file. The comments report link is on the bottom right of the comment.

Bug Reports & Suggestions

Well that's all I can think of at the moment of what is new but of course everything was redone even if it wasn't a new feature.
