A happy coincidence, there was an open autocross course setup in the parking lot; so a quick $50 entry fee later and we were out on the course abusing our rental car. That’s right we didn’t have any real wheels there so we decided that we may as well test the limits of our rental Ford Mustang with the classy yellow paint job and black racing stripes. As soon as we rolled up to the course with the car everyone was staring in bewilderment as to why someone would autocross a rental Ford Mustang. The course Marshall approached us and asked us what we were planning to do with the car. We explained that were from Canada and out for a weekend of research. Somehow that made sense so he let us onto the course.
